Okunade became the principal in 1992. Through his effort, the Ogun State government was able to construct a building that was used for classrooms. He started the security wall around the school.
During his tenure, the school excelled in science as evidenced by the numerous awards received in the field of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science and Technology. He initiated the process for evening lectures for the boarding students.
Ogun is the current principal. He is also an alumnus of the school. He became the principal in 1995. He mastered the approaches of his predecessors in strengthening the bond between the school and its alumni. The alumni always rise up to his school’s development appeals.
Since becoming the principal, the alumni responded by building a school clinic and modern library. He also strengthens the bond between the school and the PTA. The PTA on the other hand refurbished the school bus. During his tenure, the school has won many awards like the National Art & essay competition, the Junior Engineers, Technicians & Scientists competition, and the list goes on.
