Organisation Profile
The Abeokuta Grammar School Old Boys’ Association was founded in Nigeria in 1921. It is the known oldest Old Boys’ Association in Nigeria with the Central Body in Abeokuta. The three main branches are in Lagos, Abeokuta and Ibadan. There are other branches in Zaria, Kaduna, Ile-Ife, Ijebu-Ode and Kano, all in Nigeria.
AGSOBA, as the Association is popularly known, has both male and female membership.
Our Mission
- To constantly remind members of their responsibility and loyalty to their ‘ ALMA MATER’.
- To foster unity understanding and friendly co-operation among all old students of the School, irrespective of age, breed, colour or religion.
- To encourage the deepening of the old School tie with particular regard to contributing to the improvement of standards generally in the School.
- To remember always that ‘ONCE AN AGSOBA’ always ‘AN AGSOBA’ is the same anywhere in the world.
